Created in 1989, the Instituto de Reabilitação e Estomatológico do Funchal, Lda. (IREF) is a reference unit in providing care in the area of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is located on Madeira Island. This recognition comes from the fact that since its inauguration, the satisfaction and healthcare of our patients has been our utmost priority through all the services provided by our team.

Initially, our institution only provided services in physical medicine and rehabilitation. However, in 2020, the decision was taken to extend our services provided and, as such, now include general and family medicine. Constituted by a multidisciplinary team, our intentions are to respond to the multiple conditions and pathologies presented to us by our patients, provide a guided treatment plan, and build trust in our professionals.
